Joomla 3 Moodle 2.6 Integration was created by tumer
I have installed and configured Joomdle with Joomla 3.3 and Moodle 2.6 successfully. However, I cannot assign a user a moodle course. I tried to set groups and access levels in Joomla, and even purchased and installed Jomsocial just because Joomdle "additional data source" forced me to do so. However, I couldn't make out how to assign a user in Joomla a course in Moodle. I even tried to assign the authenticated user in moodle the roles of student, but again the users in Joomla cannot access the course contents (moodle keeps warning "you cannot enrol yourself into this course). I don't know what I am missing; in fact I did the installation step by step, but for the past 2 weeks I have been struggling with this integration. Can anyone tell me (step by step if possible) how to overcome the problem? I will also try to make my situation clear below.

1. I have a Joomla 3.3 installed.
2. I need users register (through Jomsocial) either free or paid (JPayplans) on Joomla site.
3. Free registered users should only see course topics and contents. But paid members will also access course contents.
4. Jomsocial should show the users their courses under "My Courses" tab and get the course list from Joomdle.
5. Paid users should be able to see any report (grades etc.) on their Jomsocial page.

I hope, someone would help.
Kind regards
Tumer

Hi Tumer. I have removed your post from tips & Tricks as this area is for those who has resolved something and are offering advise rather than having problems.

Have you enrolled your issues yet?

To be clear Joomdle does not require you to use Jomsocial. If you want Jomsocial integration then yes you enable that option. If you do not want Jomsocial then do not select it in Joomdle and you will not experience the error.

If you are still having problems, I would suggest that your first step is to get just Joomla and Moodle working without any 3rd party integration such as Jomsocial, Payplans, etc. as this will just complicate your configuration.
