Joomdle redirects to server url instead of domain url was created by innoads
Hello,
I have had Joomla installed in hostingserver.url/joomla and Moodle is installed in hostingserver.url/courses (done by Antonio). Now I have a domain name set up for the website and have moved Joomla from /joomla to /root. My problem is that when I am on mydomain.com and click on a joomdle link it opens hostingserver.url/courses/... instead of mydomain.com/courses/...
After moving joomla to root I changed in moodle>site administration>plugins>authentication>joomdle the Joomla URL from hostingserver.url/joomle to hostingserver.url/
Additionally, when I try to open mydomain.com/courses the attached error messages shows and redirects to hostingserver.url/courses . The error message translates to 'A wrong access attempt was detected. Sorry, but the server should always be accessed via hostingserver.url/courses. Please, contact your server admininstrator '
How can I fix this, so that Moodle runs under mydomain.com/courses ?
Thanks, Andreas

Hi Andreas.
You need to change Moodle URL in config.php in /courses, so that Moodle knows the new URL.

Hi Antonio,
thanks for your fast reply, you saved my day!
I have changed that config.php as well as the moodle url in joomdle>configuration as well as the joomla url in moodle>site administration>plugins>authentication>joomdle to the mydomain.com/.. versions and now it seems to work well again.
Great
