Do we install in two separate folders? [Closed]

Greetings everyone. I am a total newbie to Joomdle and this may have been answered, but I am unsure of where to find it.

I am familiar with using and installing Joomla, but not Moodle. From what I can get from the Wiki we are to install both Joomla and Moodle separately and then apply the integration. Cool. My question is, should I create two separate folders (i.e. Joomla & Moodle) and have Joomdle on the root of the server? Or should I install, let's say, Joomla on the root of the server, and put Moodle in its own folder?

The most usual config is the one you suggested: Joomla on the root of the server, and put Moodle in its own folder.

Greetings. I appreciate your reply. I am getting a better understanding of how the bridge works. I thought it was a package to itself, at first, that had both Joomla and Moodle. I see that is not the case. This prompted the question. My question now is should the Joomla and Moodle softwares exist in the same database, or should they be in separate databases?

Should be in separate database.

It does not really matter, but as Shiv says, usually you will do it in separate databases, as it is easier to manage.
