Getting this error when checking a completion box, but ONLY from inside Joomla. Going into Moodle as an admin and checking the mark works fine.

I'm using Joomla 3.3.3, Joomdle 095, Moodle 2.6.1 (Build: 20140228), and Jomsocial 3.2.1.4

I think we may just hire you to troubleshoot all the issues and fix everything.

Hi there,

Can you take a screen shot so we better understand what completion boxes you are referring to.

Thanks

Here you go. It's the standard completion option for an item in the course. The one you check off when you've completely an item (or that is auto checked for you). Again, it works fine if I sign in and then go into moodle only. It just doesn't work inside the joomla framework. I tried to annotate the image but it didn't stick. Look to the right of the assignments and you'll see a little orange spinning icon in the completion check box column. I had clicked the check box, then you get the spinning icon and then up pops the error.

There is one point that is still confusing me, you say you are going into Moodle as an admin to perform this function. Can the student do it? Remember Joomdle does not support Admin functions from Joomla.

The students cannot do it. When you're logged into Joomla as anyone (student or admin) you get that error.

As an admin, if I then bounce over to pure moodle, I'm able to check the box.

Those boxes aren't an admin thing, the students check those boxes when they want to show they completed something (or the box is auto checked based on the settings of the assignment). In our case the online only students have to check a box that says they listened to an mp3 or watched the class for that day and they are currently unable to check the box. We may be contracting Antonio to see if he can fix it, but I wondered if anyone else had seen this issue.

I have tested this in my local installation and it is working fine, so this may be something specific to your setup.
