Translation problem on search plugin was created by bg
Hi!
I have some problem in translating some text on language files.
When I use the Seach plugin on my page, there is some text that i can't translate.
There is 3 checkbox, to search only in Course, Course Categories, and Course topics, an these labels are appeared too near checkboxis.
I metought the language files for these labels are in the frontend (site) language files. But no.
For translate these files, i have found the language files in administrator/language
There is 3 files for the searchengine plugin:
en-GB.plg_search_coursecategories.ini
en-GB.plg_search_courses.ini
en-GB.plg_search_coursetopics.ini
I want to make the translation with Translation Manager Lite plugin for Joomla. When I make the translation for en-GB.plg_search_courses.ini in hungarian, it works fine on the page. But in the other 2 files, when I make the hungarian translation, it doesn't seem anything on the page. However when I manually change the english language file directly on ftp, there isn't even any change on site.
Only the translation of en-GB.plg_search_courses.ini works with no fuss, the other two makes not respond to changes on the page when i use the search.
I havent idea about this problem.

Hi, thanks for the bug report.
I checked it, and it turns out language files for seach plugins were not in good shape
.
I have worked on them now, and I am attaching them so you can do your translation. If you still have any issues, please let me know.

Thanks for your response. Now it works. But..
With the files that you send i make the translations, and now the Course doesn't work, and the other two does. With the old files in máy ftp, it was inversely. Now I use the old files for searc in course plugin, and use the new files in the other two.
Otherwise, it's fine for me now.
Thank you!
Respect.

It's weird... did you install the new version of course search plugin? It uses new strings, so it should not work at all with old files.

Jepp, I changed the old plugin files before I try to translate the new language files again. I want to help you about this fault, but I don't know how. I attached the files what ara perfectly works for me. They're helps for you maybe.
Otherwise, it's not sure that the fault is in your files and code. I may make something wrong.
But I cant understand, that in the search_coursetopics and course_categories plugin the new file versions works good. And in the search course, the older file version.
I can't see the "how to"-s behind the programcode, Thats truth.
