connecting joomla to Moodle was created by Penny Durocher
I have set up a joomla site and a Moodle site and I am trying to connect them. I have followed all the documentation that I could find on setting them up.
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Preparing_Moodle_20#Create_token
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Installing_Joomdle_...functions_to_service
www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check
I am using Joomla! 3.3.6 and Moodle 2.7.2+
In my system check in joomla I get the following
Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity Joomla cannot connect to Moodle
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services Received empty response from Moodle
I have Joomdle installed on both Joomla and Moodle sites.
I have XMLRPC PHP Extension enabled on my server and Allow URL fopen.
Joomdlehooks User Plugin is enabled
I followed the steps in the above documents and created a user and assigned them to joomdle added the functions and placed my URL in both Joomla site and moodle site.
This is being done on a development server so I will gladly give you access to look at my settings.
Thanks
Penny

It seems you have a basic connection problem between Joomla and Moodle. Maybe a firewall or something else is blocking connections.
If you want to engage the Joomdle team in configuration, please write to development@joomdle.com

Maybe you have something forbidding connections from the server to itself, or any other security measure, like .htaccess restrinctions.

That's really weird. I have never seen something like that.
For system check, it should not matter who/from where you connect to Joomla backend.

I thought it weird as well, I got the other programmer here and he saw what I saw, The last 3 in the system check was red and the screen shots that the server guy sent was green,
Could I possible be connected but maybe not showing?
I tried the /test.php after my link to take me to the Moodle folder and I see a blank page.
Is there possible another way that I can check to see if I am actually connected? I created a menu item for the joomdle and have the menu type as a Course List, I have one course created in Moodle, but I don't see anything when I go to the page.
