Moodle and Joomla won't talk to each other

Under the system check I have green arrows on all but:

Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity

When I export users from Joomla to Moodle, I get blank unusable users in moodle. I can't seem to find joomlahooks.

I run Joomla 2.5.4 and Moodle 20110221

What are some things I should look at? I have been through step v on the system health check and nothing seems to work.

I can't find network settings in Moode

I get this: "XML-RPC Error (1): Access Denied184.76.8.41"
when I go to www.mywebsite/index.php?option=com_joomd...server&format=xmlrpc

I guess you also have a red cross on the last item in system check.

It seems your server cannot connect to itself. Check any firewall and other security measures you may have in place.

no, i meant what i said. only red crosses in those two areas. any thoughts?

If the last check is fine, I guess you are ok.

Maybe the other 2 checks are failing because yo have some protections in the folders....(plugin in moodle and component in joomla)
