XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error

Hi, i am new to the community and i try to install joomdle. I have installed XAMPP as localhost, joomla and i followed the documentation, but i received XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error. I have Joomla 2.5 and Moodle 2.0x, what should i check?

also, when i try to login in the moodle, i receive 404 page, the url is http://localhost://index.php?option=com_user&view=login

As above 404 errors are normally, that the browser cannot find something.

In the first cas above, you do not say what you were doing when you got the error, nor the link that generates the message. So not much for me to go on.

In the second case, I can see that your link is incorrect. You have two sets of //.

Do you have green ticks in your system health check? Do you have xmlrpc installed locally?

I have moved your post to a different thread as it is unlikely that your issues are related to the earlier ones.

Please also include all your versions numbers.

If you posted the right address then you have a problem in the URL setup. Check again the localhost URL
