scorm sends main page to moodle

i've got a short course working that consists of a scorm package, then a quiz.

the quiz works fine, in an iframe.

the scorm package however, when i click to start it from the iframe in joomla, it opens the scorm package in a new window (which is also correct), but it sends the main page to the moodle environment, rather than staying in the frame inside joomla - is this a known issue that i'm missing a setting somewhere?

joomla 2.5.8, moodle 2.4, joomdle 0.9.

Off hand I am not sure - it is possible there is a bug but not aware of one yet.

Where are you defining the link / clicking. Is it a Joomdle page / course link or something that is inside the scorm package? It sounds like it is in he scorm package?

What does the url look like when you mouse of the link? Can you see it to see if it goes directly to modle or ends up there because of some other redirection.

it's the button in the moodle page that launches the scorm package.

so does this mean the problem is in moodle, and not joomdle?

Anyway there are some problems with IE. I'm trying to modify the autoheight.js to adapt it for IE.

I know exactly what you are saying, I am having same problem.

From the joomla wrapper (first window) you can see the moodle scorm course package, when you click on the scorm course papckage, the scorm course pops up in a new window which is perfect. The problem is the first window under the popup then immediately redirects to the moodle website course page. So when a students finishes the course and closes the popup scorm course window they only see the redirected moodle website page and not the joomla website wrapper (first window).

The problem is, the user/student is unable to use the joomla links to navigate after they have finished the course.

I am trying to work it out but if anyone can help also that will be great, if I find solution i will post here

good to know it's not just me! i've posted in the moodle forums too, but so far no solution.
