Installation Problem was created by David Ludlow
Hi
I have spent the last two days trying to installed and get Joomdle working. Can any one help as I have unistalled everything and started again with exactly the same issues
I have the latest Moodle installed at www.davidludlow.co.uk/vle and this works fine, I have installed and followed your instructions to install and set up Joomdle in Moodle.
I have the latest Joomla installed at www.davidludlow.co.uk (Joomla! 2.5.9 Stable [ Ember ] 4-February-2013 14:00 GMT) and have followed your instructions to install Joomdle in Joomla.
The only thing that did not work was adding Joomdle ‘Functions’ to the new external service. There are no joomdle functions in the list.
If I click on System Check in Joomla the last 3 items have a red cross.
Here is the link I have to the Joomla page with the Moodle Wrapper www.davidludlow.co.uk/index.php/david-s-vle so you can also see what is happening.
I look forward to any suggestions as I seem to have run out of my own ideas. Thank you

Try to follow again the documentation steps. Also verify you have installed the moodle mods correctly.

If you do not see the Joomdle functions, there will be a problem with the installation of Joomdle in Moodle. Did you unzip into the auth directory. Do you have two levels of Jomdle below auth/ Did you click on notifications?

Hi
Yes I have just one level below auth directory and unzipped it there. I then went to notifications to continue the install. I have followed the instructions mor than once and still have the problem.

The path must be: domain.com/moodle_folder/mod/auth/joomdle
and not
domain.com/moodle_folder/mod/auth/auth_joomdle/joomdle
and not
domain.com/moodle_folder/mod/auth/auth_joomdle/joomdle
