Hello,

Joomla 2.5.9
Joomdle R0.9
Moodle 2.4.1

I installed / configured Joomla exactly according to documentation (did it twice in different environments to be sure). The joomla und moodle installations are new.

After setting up joomdle, new registered users can't login to joomla anymore. The registration seems to work (activation link is sent by mail, after clicking activation link, user is being activated). Of course I tried to set the password again, user is still not able to login. Joomdle system check shows no problems. Users can be copied to moodle (I have disabled autosynch), but also can't login to moodle.

After uninstalling joomdle in joomla extension manager, login works fine again.

I do not see error messages in log file.

How can i trace this problem?

I reinstalled joomdle in joomla and now it works. Joomdle just permits SSO from joomla to moodle, right? It does not sync passwords from joomla to moodle?

Correct, passwords are not sync across. You can still SSO from Moodle to Joomla if you are insinuating this? Most howerever use Joomla as the front door (with login) and Moodle as the content provider thus SSO from Joomla to Moodle is logical.

Once connected, it is all about bring data and/or links from Moodle into Joomla to pull / influence the Joomla users into a course.
