Any reason why quizzes are not viewed within Joomla?

Hi folks,

I wondered, is there any reason (other than the view not being present) why quizzes are not viewed within Joomla! at all?

It's quite a jarring experience for the rest of the course to be administered within Joomla! and then the quiz sends you off to Moodle.

Any thoughts gratefully accepted!

Well, most of the content is still on Moodle, not only the quizes. Almost all activities need to be done in moodle, as having them in Joomla directly requires basically rewritting them.

We have done some, but it is a big task, and I am not sure it makes sense to replicate it all. Maybe the quiz is the exception, as I guess there are lots of "simple" courses, based on PDF download and quiz completion.

Thanks Antonio, I thought that might be the case. I've seen quite a few posts about this so I'd agree, the quiz aspect is quite important as there are many courses which are simply download this file, pass this quiz. The challenge then is whether you show the results, grades etc in Joomla! and so forth I guess.

At least we know it's not something already in progress, don't want to overlap!
