Applying a new template to the course view screen was created by CIW Class
I have just installed a new Joomla template. It works fine with the existing pages except the screen a course is viewed by being wrapped in Joomla.
Could you direct me on how this adjustment is made?
Thank you in advance.

Hi there, at this point I really cannot visualise what you are trying to accomplish. You does say what adjustments you want or what look you are trying to achieve. Alternatively, what is wrong with your current view?

Hi, I've made a template with one column for Moodle content, with a thin banner, and a horizontal menu accross the top for site navigation. My intention is to use one column for the Moodle course pages to maximize viewing area.
However, the new theme is not applied to the screen that Moodle is supposed to appear. I am able to apply the theme to the other pages though.
I guess the question is how do I apply the theme to where Moodle is supposed to appear.
I know this is a novice question, so I appreciate your assistance.
Thanks again...

You need to enter the itemid in "default itemid".
Then, use the template in that menu item.
Then, use the template in that menu item.

Hi Antonio,
Which default itemid are you referring to please? Where would I find that?
Do I need to create a new menu item as well?
Thanks again.

When you create a menu item (say main menu), you will have a menu item defined. This is the id you need to enter. This you will need to do anyway to display the component view you wish to show.
