Joomdle R0.91, Joomla 2.5
Just wanted to say hi and that it's great to see the integration of two very cool programs. I'm not experienced in webdesign or coding, etc., but Joomla has proven time and again to be the most forgiving system for users like me. And now, with you guys bringing in Moodle, I'm looking forward to learning more!

Well, I'm going to start setting it up today, so I guess my first question would be whether it's best to install Joomla and Moodle and then Joomdle, or Moodle first? My intent is to set up Moodle with the Joomla template up front.
And everyone is pushing JomSocial. I can't afford it right now. Will Community Builder and Kunena do for now?

It's the same.
You just need to install jooomla and moodle before starting with Joomdle.
Joomdle supports CB and Kunena.

Joomla 2.5, Moodle 1.9, and Joomdle (the new version).

Thanks for the advice to install the newest of everything. I installed Joomla 2.5, Moodle 1.9, and Joomdle (the new version). So far, so good. At least now, I can pull up the login page of Moodle through the Joomla login, which also opens up the Kunena forum. Still using the 1.5 template, though, and I've actually loaded a Moodle module on the pages!
Gonna spend the day checking and making sure everything is where it's supposed to be. Question: When I do "system check through Joomdle, it has these three comments:
1 - http connectivity issue with Joomla - moodle
2 - http connectivity issues with moodle - Joomla
3 - moodle is not talking to either Joomdle or Joomla
Yet, I was able to put a "Random Question on Joomla. What am I missing?

Means that Joomla cannot find moodle. It could be the Moodle URL is incorrectly defined in Joomla, it could also be a networking related issue where joomla cannot connect with Moodle.
