Blank user data in Moodle but username

Hello,

I'm just starting with Joomdle... I did all steps setting up Joomdle in Joomla and Moodle. In still getting "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle".

I changed language to en, pt, etc in both and nothing. It seem to me that it's working somehow, they are interacting, everytime I delete some test-user it's deleted from Moodle automatic. When I register a new one, only username is created and the rest of the data is blank, but a new user is created in Moodle.




The only plugin I can't install is plug_joomdlehookscommuntybuilder - I get the following error: "JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file".

I did all Mappings data as following:



The only field I cannot find is email.

Forgot to mention:

Moodle: 2.4.3
Joomla: 3.1.1
Joomdle: 0.91 (installed two days ago)

If you have errors in system check, you will get problems like this, so you need to fix those first.

"Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle".

It seems I still can't figure it out the problem...

Did you read through this FAQ document which lists down a number of potential issues related to that message?

In general your moodle cannot find your Joomla. Aside from the potential issues listed above, you may have blocks in on your Joomla server, proxy server, etc.

In Joomla default lang you should put only "en"

I changed to just "en" and nothing.

Then... I got it... you aren't going to believe it, what makes us question even more.

The problem was in General Config (Joomdle) in Joomla, my Internal IP address was wrong. Then again I ask, if the problem was in Joomla, why the general error message "Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle"?

But that's fine, it is not my intention to judge, really... I think you guys did a really great job. Joomdle helps a lot.

Yet, I still don't get some fields in mappings from CB or Joomla... I got the fields on Moodle but not in Joomla. Example, email. Do I need mapping for this field? I did not see it in your example.

I don't think that IP address can cause that message, so maybe it was something else...

Email is alaways automatically mapped.
