XML-RPC hosts was created by Brett Slote
Hello,
When I try to enter the moodle page from joomla with joomdle installed, I get an error message XML-RPC Error (7021): The transport method you are trying to use is not permitted.
If I go to the moodle admin -> Networking -> XML-RPC hosts and enter 192.168.0.0/0, it works... but obviously that is not a very good idea. If I enter 127.0.0.1/32 it does not work, and if I enter the IP address that my hosting control panel lists (which starts with 66.) it does not work.
It is a netfirms shared hosting account, so I don't think there even is a static IP address to use...
What is the right way to deal with this?
Thank you.

If it works with 192.168.0.0/0 it means your server is using an IP address in that range to communicate, and not the public IP.
You will need to find out which IP it is. If there is no fixed IP, you can leave the subnet as you have it.
