Enrolment question was created by Steve
Hi All
I am using Joomdle 0.90 with Moodle 2.5+ and have some general enrolment behaviour questions. sorry for the length details;
In moodle I have self-enrolment and manual enrolment enabled, and set to a custom created role by default. In Joomla I am using Menus to display course in a Moodle category which display the Moodle link "Enrol in Course" - when user clicks on this Joomdle link they are linked to the moodle site and enrolled into the course -- however if I check the course enrolments I see the enrolments show manual enrolment with the default Student role (not self-enrolment as I would expect).
If I disable manual enrolment of this course in Moodle then user then are prompted, once in Moodle, to choose self-enrolment option, and user then enrols with the self-enrolment method and with set custom role.
My Questions
Should Joomla/joomdle course enrolment link use the Moodle manual enrolment if it enabled? If Joomdle uses the manual enrolment option why is not enrolling users with the set role?
My Joomla/Moodle setup is working all Joomdle check are OK. My joomla and moodle are on different domains, and I do have redirectless SSO -- disabled.
Thanks
Steve

For Joomdle, manual enrolments is used and not self-enrolment. You should be able to disable the self enrolment.
The confusion is probably because while the user might be clicking on the course, Joomdle is doing the work to enroll and not the user.

Joomdle will use default student role, and not the custom one you created.
