Kuena forum integration was created by Sudarshan Kumar
wiki says : you need to create/select the parent Teachers and Students groups. All teachers and students will be added to those. Also, new child groups will be created for each course. This is used to control access to course forums, so only enroled users can access them.
can you guys explain how to do it( steps)
I have already done other 3 required steps to integrate kuena to joomdle.(enable Use Joomla user groups and Use Kunena forums in moodle. and enable "Use Kunena forums" in "Course view" configuration of joomdle(joomla)

After putting effort of 15 days I am almost ready with my joomdle site (academus.in) with CB and kuena integration. Thank you guys for such a wonderful product.
I am still struggling to sync kuena forum to moodle course.
on www.academus.in/index.php/online-courses...-vii/mathematics-vii (this is "joomdle course content" menu item) I can see two forum
Is this what you can achieve in kunena integration with joomdle or I am missing something here and there

- News forum : When I click it doesnt open in Kunena forum it opens moodle forum in. I cannot edit anything but can see the content I added in my moodle forum
- Class VII Mathematics: this is the standard forum I created in moodle but synced to kunena. Clicking on it opens kunena forum but what ever I update in kunena forum doesnt get reflected in moodle forum and vice versa
Is this what you can achieve in kunena integration with joomdle or I am missing something here and there

1. News forums are not ported to Kunena. It just shows the news in a Joomdle view.
2. This is how it's supposed to work. You are supposed to use Kunena instead of Moodle forums, not at the same time. There is no forum information sync between the 2.
