avatar profile does not always sync with moodle

I am using community builder for the profile in joomla and I have some users who are reporting that they update their profile in joomla and it does not update in moodle, joomla 3.8.3, cb 2.13, cbsubs 4.1.1 and moodle 3.2.x. I can manually sync the moodle profile from the back end and it does not seem to be consistent s there a certain time it takes before it syncs? It has been working wonderfully for years and your support is great. Any suggestions as to where to look for a problem or how it should sync, I have the data fields mapped from the registration/profile form in cb to moodle and that shows up correctly it is just their profile image

I just tested locally, and image sync seems to be working fine.
However, it seems for you it is working in some cases, and not in others right?

No, no time required.
When you manually sync profile, does pic sync work?
Do you have installed and enabled the Joomdlehooks CB plugin?

So, when you update profile, data is updated in Moodle, but no the image?
