Custom PDF grade report

I have another question, which in some way is related but also not so not sure If I should create a new post.

In Moodle I have 5 grade items 20 marks each I have set the category and course to exclude empty fields, in Moodle if 4 fields contain grades it calculates it out of 80 which is correct.

In the Joomdle grade report it empty fields are excluded from the course total but not the category total, how do I change this.
