I am looking to take Joomdle to the next stage of integration by linking to an e-commerce site. I do not currently have e-commerce set up.

As I have a clean slate in regards to e-commerce, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of which one to go with from the various choices? Reading e-commerce reviews, they all have different benefits and don't really have time to install them all to try out.

Ideally, I'd like a standard price, but be able to log prices for specific customers. I'd also like to be able to offer discounts.

In future, I'd like to consider subscriptions, but I deal with managers with staff and I believe I read a post that subscriptions cannot be passed to 'children'. Is this correct?
Can subscriptions be for a manager and used by various children. For example, buying access for 10 courses per year which can be used up by any of the staff.

I have custom fields against my courses. Can this be pulled through to the product to display as additional information?

Any feedback would be great.

Hi.

I cannot recommend any e-commerce extension, as I have not really used them myself in production. In terms of integration, they all offer the same functionality.

As for subscriptions: there is no support in Joomdle related to subscriptions in e-commerce extensions. You can sell subscriptions via subscriptions components like Payplans or Membership Pro, and then use Joomdle to link plans and courses.
Maybe there are options to sell subscriptions via some e-commerce extensions, but I would say they are not very popular, as no one has asked us about a possible integration.

No, you would need to enter this info manually in the product. Only name, description and price (if set) is passed to the shop.
