Joomdle Changelog and Plugin/Module Update Notification was created by itgorillathailand
First off, I want to tell you guys that I have been using Joomdle for over a year and I believe it to a valuable program. Second, I like the new site design and I support the subscription model that you are moving towards. I see this as a positive change, so that you can spend more time creating new plugins and honing the existing ones to perfection.
The one thing I have noticed with your new website is that it is nearly impossible to find out what changed between the versions of Joomdle. Also, I hadn't been to your website in a while and saw that there are a few more modules released for Hikashop integration. They were dated from October, but I had to actually look for these updates to even know they existed. I didn't know I would even need any of these modules/plugins until I read their descriptions. Then I saw one that definitely interested me about the auto-enrolment date plugin for Hikashop. If I had known about it 2 months ago, I would have been using it already.
May I suggest that on the front-page of your website you create a weekly/monthly updated page that list the "changelog" between the different core module updates. Also, you could include a sort of "new modules/plugins" page with brief descriptions right on the front page, that would be be updated monthly. It could cover the last 3 or 4 months of new modules that were created so that users could review the new modules, without having to search 2 or 3 deep in menus.
I think these additions would help you sites visibility and ease of use for your customer base.
Thank you for all of your excellent work and keep it up.

Hi. Thanks for your kind words and your suggestions.
I have now linked to Changelog from Joomdle 1.0.0 package description, so it is easy to see changes.
I think your suggestion about showing changes is good, and I already was something about something similar. I will talk to Chris about the best way to do this.
As for the hikashop plugin with enrolment dates: this was developed in private for a client, so this is the first time we make it available.

Thanks for your feedback Sam.
We have added an intro text to the Changelog on the homepage and a link from the Support Menu to the full Changelog.
With regards to knowing what features are available, this is a more complicated task as it involves both the documentation wiki, the download area, the features page and the homepage. That said, we are working on increasing the documentation in the wiki and making plugin details more accessible in the download area as a start.
Thanks again for your feedback.
