how to migrate large number of users from moodle to joomla

I have over large number of moodle users and need to migrate to Joomla, I did use the migration tool provided from joomdle, but is it very time consuming and since I can only manually migrate about 20 users on one page each time and the page refresh to the first page, Is there a fast way to do this?

We currently have no general method for migrating lots of users from Moodle to Joomla. As the process needs to email every user with new credentials, it is always going to take a while for each user (BTW: did you test this? Is it correctly sending new password? I recently tested this in latest Joomla and it seems email was not being sent, I will need to re-check this when I have the time)

But I agree that we should have a better way when you have lots of users. We have done custom migration scripts for some clients in the past, but they were not really useful for general use.

If you need to migrate the users now, it won't help you, but I will put this topic in Feature Requests, so we can try to work on it for a future release.

Just one more thing: you can change joomla settings to show 100 records, so it's a little faster, assuming your server settings allow for the extended memory and execution time needed.
Also, if you set filter to "Not Joomdle users", you won't need to go to next page, as it will only show non-migrated users on reload.

Thanks Antonio, do you have a timeline for this feature? We need this feature to fully use Joomdle. So far, we have great experience with Joomdle and thanks for the great work.
