Hi
I am trying to make a joomla website and integrate it with moodle. I have already done it using joomdle. I am using the joomla version 3.4.8 and moodle version 3.0.0.I have student, user and teacher users. My issue is, I want the teacher to be able to create course. I saw a link in your forum
www.joomdle.com/support/forum/feature-re...rough-joomla-joomdle
in which you said you cannot create courses. Is this functionality available now? If yes please help me with the steps.
Also please let me know how to goto moodle page from joomla.
Is there any way i can bring this functionality by any means?? Its urgent....any help appreciated!

Joomdle has been designed primarily for the students and their parents / bosses. Creating courses is done through Moodle given the vast difference in functionality required for creating and managing the courses.

For your second question, going to Moodle from Joomla, you have many views and modules you can choose to direct the user. You can refer to the Features & User guide in the wiki www.joomdle.com/wiki/Features

Thanks for your reply!
I saw these 3 views..
Student Specific Views
Course Specific Views
General and Other Views

But I actually wanna add courses..So i am thinking if i could redirect from my joomla website and enter the moodle, Will i be able to add courses?? My ultimate goal is to add course!
Another question is what is exactly meant by Single Sign On?? I gave a link from joomla site to moodle create course but it came to the login page of moodle.I tried login in to moodle with the username and password i created in joomla but I couldn't logon to moodle.

I am sorry if my question seems stupid...I am extremely new to joomla, moodle and joomdle...!
Thanks !

No question is stupid - questions are how we learn.

Single-Sing-ON (SSO) allows you to log into Joomla and automatically logging you into Moodle ie login one time only. This is better for your end users / students so they can manage on one set of userid/pw. You will need to enable SSO in Joomdle for it to work.

Also it is worth noting that if you want to avoid the Moodle login page you will also need to configure "Additional Data" in Joomdle because Moodle requires more information that what Joomla collects by default. This should not be your priority at first while learning as you will need to set up Joomla to collect additional information.

In terms of views, there are many others - you can visit our demo, the wiki or see additional through the Joomla menu manager.

To add courses, you do this like normal using your teacher userid through Moodle. Just proceed to your Moodle front end and login with your teacher user id / pw.
