I would like to discuss this further. I have shown our new site to a number of people and to a large group of students to get their feedback. They have come up with some really good suggestions. Some of which relate to what you already have and some to new stuff, which if we have the money will commission you to build.
When would be a good time to discuss? We will want the Grades and I can explain how we want that, the calendar is less important as we don't use that feature at the moment.
I will let to set you up a login so you can use our system and try it and see what you think as well. You will notice that grades really needs to be in a tab not on the main top menu where it is at the moment to make the site more professional.
One of the biggest requests for the students who have tried the site asked for was for Thumbnails to be next to the courses in the CB courses tab rather than bullet points. and if they can be in columns so its not a really long list. they got this idea because on the menu we have used your joomdle option for my courses and it shows them with a thumbnail which they must prefer. Your menu item also puts them in categories... We have Computer Science and ICT as our two categories. But the TAB just puts them in one long bullet list, that is ok for Adults but boring for children.
