Hi Antonio
Will Joomdle work with Easy Social 2.0?
If not is there some kind of time table for when it should work with ES 2+
stackideas.com/blog?view=entry&id=564
thanks
Paul
ps sorry if this is in the wrong section. There seems to be no way to move the threrad!

Thanks for the link, I didn't know first beta was already out.
We will look into it so we can try to have an integration ready when they release final version.

Hi.
We have an update on this. We tested Beta with Joomdle and found a little problem that needed a fix from Easysocial. They were really fast and helpful, as you can check here:
stackideas.com/issues/easysocial/140
As they say, beta 3 will include the fix. When that happens, current Joomdle plugins will work fine with Easysocial 2.0, with no changes needed.

Hi Antonio
I was traveling hence my slow reply.
That is great news that the upgrade path seems to be reasonably straight forward. :woohoo:
Yes Stackideas have blazingly fast support and are all out amazing.
What is the upgrade path?
Wait for a Joomdle update
eg Joomdle 1.0.8 for Joomla 3+ and upgrade
(I am currently on Joomdle 1.0.6)
And then install the Stable Release of Easy Social 2.x?
as of now "EasySocial 2.0.0 RC1 Available Now" and that was 2 days ago.
I would give them 1-2 weeks to have a stable release out the door
thanks

You just need to wait for Easysocial stable release, and then everything related to Joomdle should keep working fine, without needing to update Joomdle or any Joomdle-Easysocial integration plugins.
