[Closed] Italian language was created by Antonio Mercurio
Hello!

I've almost finished the italian translation of the latest version and I want to share it with the community.

How I can do this?

Also I can help to translate in Italian Language the Wiki.

Thanks.

{sorry if this is the wrong thread}

Hi.

Thanks for helping the Joomdle project. We will be delighted to include your translation in next Joomdle release.
If you want, you can send me (antonio.duran.terres@gmail.com) the one for R0.25 now so I can include it in my build scripts. Then, in one or two weeks, I would send you a test version of next release so you can complete new strings.

As for thw wiki, you can start by translating the main page, and then you tell us and we will include italian in the language selection menu, and you can go translating the pages as you wish.
The process is explanied here:
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Languages

Again, thanks for your collaboration.

Antonio

Ok!

Let me check for typos and test on my test system.

A question:

In italian language we use a lot of letters like èéì

How can use it on the language translation?

1) è = è
2) è = e\'
3) é = é but in this case on same hosting system the character is not corret rendered.

For the wiki let me send the translation and the i'll answer.

Sorry, but I don't really understand your problem with those chars.

In spanish we also have á, é, ü ... and there are no problems with them.

How did you do the translation? Did you use Joomla translation manager? That should take care of the file encoding. It should be utf8.
