[Closed] Purchase upgrade which extends registration period was created by Ruth Cheesley
I don't think it's a current feature, but it would be great to be able to add a 'special' upgrade feature which extended the period that a users subscribed courses lasted for - say they had purchased a 3 month course, they could pay £xx to extend the course (and maybe any course they have purchased which is live) to 12 months duration.

Hi Ruth,
You are correct
And yes I think this would be great. I have been wondering however, it using the Moodle expiry date for this is the best way. I was thinking, perhaps a subscription manager from the Joomla side. And then sync ("push") the subscription manager ending date to Moodle. The reason I thought of this was purely from an administrative point of view. How do we tell students that their course is going to expiry? I think that would need to be managed by Moodle unless we had the subscription manager component involved.
What are your thoughts?
