Hi there,
Joomdle has not been tested with J1.7. At this time there is no planned date for J1.7 and could take as much as two months before there is a alpha version for it. That said, J1.7 and J1.6 are very close so you may want to test it and report back.

Already have a test version for J1.7 - M2.1
If you want to help by early testing, email me at antonio@joomdle.com so I can send you a copy.

Just curious, does Joomdle for J1.7-M2.1 also work with M2.04? If yes, I would be interested to test.

Yes, it should work with any Moodle <= 2.1
Send me an email if you want to get a copy to help with some testing.

Hi Antonio,
Can you please post an update on whether 'Joomdle R0.5 for Joomla 1.6.x ALPHA 5' now works with Moodle 2.1, or whether you recommend sticking with 2.0? (I could install either M2.0 or M2.1, and if there's more risk with 2.1 I'll stay with 2.0 - just checking the status).
Thanks!

Hi.
Alpha5 has some problems with Moodle 2.1.
If you want a test copy of Alpha6, which fixes them, send me an email at antonio@joomdle.com

End of life for Joomla 1.6 is apparently 19 August 2011.
Do you anticipate having ongoing difficulty keeping pace with Joomla's new release cycles? If so, this could create substantial security issues for Joomdle users.
For the record, I think Joomla's new policy of ending security patches for a release only 1-month after the introduction of the next release is absurd! And my sympathies lie with Joomdle and all other extension developers. But it's what we're stuck with

Hi.
Current development release already supports Joomla 1.7, I hope to get it out soon.
It seems 1.7 changes have no effect in Joomdle, as no chanes were required to make it work with 1.7.
So, I hope something similar will happen in future releases. As de development cycle is short, changes will not be big between versions, and I think we will be able to cope with them.
Thanks for your support!
