Hi,

I am trying to set up Joomdle to allow guests to access courses without login. Guest users can see the course outline and subjects but there are no links to the content, however if I create a user then they can click the links and the content is displayed.

Do I have to do anything with regards Guest account within Joomla or Moodle. If I just access the Moodle website as a Guest then there is no problem, I can get all of the content. If I set the 'Go to course' option to Moodle on my Joomla website, then I get the whole website embedded (not pretty but working) if I set it to 'Course View', I can see the outline but no access to content.

I am obviously missing something somewhere.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Lee.

Have you enable allow Guest Access under user policies in Moodle?

Thanks for the response. To clarify the config:

Guest access is set on Moodle
Guest access is set on the Course
Auto Login is set on Moodle
Auto Guest Login is set on Moodle
Moodle Ver. 2.2

Remote Hosted server with no access to PHP.ini so I can't get hold of PHP logs.

The problem only seems to occur when using the Joomdle Course module, the course content appears with the appropriate icons, the items are just not links until I physically log in to the Joomla site.

The site offers public and paid courses and the public courses should require no registration or login. I've tried re-installing Moodle and creating new courses all to no avail.

Any ideas?

TIA

I have never test course view with guest access, so I think it is not supported right now.
I will try to take a look at it for a future release. I am moving this thread to Feature Requests to keep track of it.
