Did you add the new functions to the service after upgrading?

That was it. This is awesome. We finally have a report card out of Moodle!
2 small asks:
1. What is the best way to have a button added so that this Report Card can be downloaded as a PDF file?
2. Also, anyway to "Brand" the report card at the top with the School Name?
From doing searches on Moodle's forum, there are many looking for a way to generate a report card from Moodle. This is the best way I have seen...
Thanks again,
Ron

Hi Ron, glad you find this useful - I couldn't agree more.
At this moment both of what you are request are not possible. My initial thoughts are:
- PDF: Use one of the joomla pdf converters to convert the specific joomla / joomdle page. I am not sure how well this would work at this time as for me the report card displayed in joomla should be formatted differently than simply a converted article to pdf. You can view some existing extensions here extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a-design/print-a-pdf
- Branding. Ideally this would allow for including of logos, backgrounds, borders, etc. much like some of the above extensions provide.
Phoca has an API that possible could be used to auto generate the pdf files? But this solution requires installation of additional components not just plugins.
Either way, some testing and playing would be required first to see if any of the J extensions could be used as a starting point.

I think for PDF it is best to use a PDF library and custom creating the files, instead of needing a 3rd party plugin. I have already done some playing with it.
I will try to give this a first try soon, and let you know. Then, we can refine things like branding, etc.
I am moving this to Feature Requests so it does not get lost.

I added a first version in R0.91. We can add brading and other stuff later.

Antonio - I see the setting in Joomdle configuration for "Use PDF Integration" and have that set you "Yes". I also installed the TCPDF library from here:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/tools/development-tools/21673
Is there something else that I need to do? I may be missing the PDF download capability somewhere...
Thanks,
Ron

In the course grades view, you should see a PDF link/image.

Antonio - I see it now when I add a course grade view for a specific course and was able to download the PDF report for a specific course. Is there anyway to add the PDF link to the overall "User Grades" view so the student can download all of their grades at once in a PDF? We have over 100 courses and I would have to have a separate menu link to each one of these in order to make the specific course grade view work...
Thanks,
Ron

Sure, we can add it there. I will try to add it for next release.
