[Closed] Add file icons??? was created by Joshua
Is it possible to add different icons to be displayed based on file type for example when a powerpoint is uploaded it shows the powerpoint icon like in moodle?

That would be a little difficult for a few reasons:
What you are looking at is the course contents view. This displays the titles / descriptions of each section. The different icons represent the different type of content / activity.
What you are asking for is to show not the content / activity type but the contents of a content page. What would you do if you uploaded a word file and a powerpoint file in the same moodle document?

Honestly I am not sure, I am working in moodle 2.4 and moodle does this based on the type of file that is uploaded. No matter what type of document I upload in moodle joomdle shows it as a text document. What I would like is if the document is a ppt it would show the ppt icon rather than the activity file icon.
