Automatically import users from Moodle when course is added / Sync course users?

Hello

We want to be able to sync Moodle users to Joomla so they can login to the Joomla site and see available course content there. We are on Joomla 5, Joomdle 2.3.1 - Moodle 4.4

Is this possible to do automatically? ie if a user is added in Moodle they are added to Joomla?

Yes, this can be done if sync is enabled in Joomdle config in Moodle.

However, currently there's a problem with this: due to Moodle limitations, password won't sync to Joomla, meaning that the user would need to reset their password after the account is created in Moodle.
In general it is better to manage user creation from Joomla. That will create Moodle accounts and it does not have the password issues.
