Help to populate Surname in Moodle

Hi,

My system is working properly.

My only issue is the "Surname doesn't populate in Moodle" problem.

When a course buyer gets the link to access the purchased course, then he is redirected to the Update Profile page showing the surname empty field.

I know this is a known problem because Joomla does not provide surname field.
You suggest to install "social plugins" to get this info and map it in Moodle through Joomdle mapping. Is it correct ?

BUT I am using Hikashop and "mapping fields between Hikashop and Joomdle" it is not possible. Right ?
I also tried to map Joomla fields in Joomdle trying to insert something else in the surname Moodle's field but it did not work.

Because I don't want to install (yet) social plugins, Is there a way to insert something in that Moodle Surname field ? It is not necessary to insert the User's Surname. City, Country or something other it is ok for me, it could be ok to duplicate the Name also.

You should be able to set Hikashop as the additional data source, and then create a mapping to map Hikahop surname to Moodle surname.

Just to confirm: is your system check all green?

yes, my system check is working fine (all green).
Please help me how to integrate Hikashop as additional data source because the only one item in menu is the "Joomla User profiles".

You need to install and enable de Hikashop Joomdle profile plugin. Then, Hikashop will appear in additional data source options.

OK I solved it.

I installed the Hikashop Joomdle profile plugin and then mapped address_surname with Moodle Surname field. The surname field Is correctly populated when Ursers confirm the link profile activation in their mail.

My bad .... I did not check the functionality for all the available plugins for Hikashop.
