Virtuemart

in virtuemart the courses are automatically given a sku which is the course number in moodle I think, is there a way for joomdle shop to use a custom sku or does that have to happen in moodle? I have someone who wants to use custom job numbers assigned to course so that using paypal as the payment gateway the sku would be identified with the "job number" so instead of 15 they want to use P-YM 300. Is there any way to do this and still use joomdle to seel moodle course via virtuemart?

Can't you use a different field instead of sku to hold that info?

If not:
Some time ago I created a Joomdle-VM2 modified plugin that used gtin field, instead of sku, to link courses and products.
We never released it, so I am not sure if it still works.
To use it you would need to re-create all your courses again, or at least set gtin field, manually or maybe with SQL query.
