Need to Reverse "Reload from Moodle"

I mistakenly clicked "reload from Moodle" instead of publishing a course that was there on the list. That, of course, created a whole new set of Joomla articles that are products in J2Store.

I can delete these new articles, but what is the best way to reconnect the Moodle courses to the older articles? I have looked in the Joomla database for a place but haven't found where these are linked in the Joomdle, J2Store, or Community Builder tables.

Hi Tim.

Before anything else: thanks for your email. I was very busy yesterday and want to take a proper look, so I will reply soon.

Not sure what you did: you selected several courses and clicked "reload from moodle"?

As you say you can delete the new articles... and I don't think you don't need to do anything else to link older ones:
Product and course are linked via product SKU, which contains the course ID.
Also, article must be in the configured category.

So, if older article is there, and product has the right SKU, product and course are linked. You can test a purchase to confirm.

I don't remember exactly what I did, but I probably selected them all and clicked "reload" because . . . . . . . lol.

Somewhere along the way I assumed (obviously by mistake) that when new articles were created the connection to the old article ids was broken. But knowing that the SKU is the connection helps me understand they are all good.

And no worries about the email reply - we've all got lots going on!

Yes, it seems like that from what you got.

In fact, I think there must be a bug then: no new articles should be created if articles already existed for those courses...I will check it out soon and get back to you.

I tested, and could not replicate your issue by reloading courses:
- when I select a course that already has a linked product, article is updated, but not duplicated
- when I select a course with no linked product, product/article is created

I will experiment here and record it so we can both see what I did!

Having updated everything there is to update I am not able to reproduce the duplication issue. I've had it happen to me a number of times in the past, but maybe the cause is gone now.
