I was getting this error on a system that has been running joomdle for quite some time...

It was one of these scenarios that it "was fine before and then it just broke."

Dropping the data from the joomla session table fixed it!

As far as I know - the only impact that would have is users currently logged into the system have to log back in

Hopefully this post save somebody some time when all else fails, took me a couple hours to even think it was a session issue and the table was not corrupt or anything

Thanks for sahring the info.

I don't understand how the session table can have influence on the user list, but hopefully this will help someone with the same problem in the future.
