Hi Ahmad
in moodle Notifications i still get
The following plugins in your system are using Events 1 API deprecated handlers: 'joomdle'. Please, update them to use Events 2 API. See docs.moodle.org/dev/Event_2#Event_dispatching_and_observers .
Had to update my student password to get in
as admin had no problem.

Hi. Was told through an email to check this tread for a fix, but it did not work. Here is what I have going on.

I upgraded to Moodle yesterday and it broke the connection between Joomla and Moodle. System check shows a red X on the last two items.

For Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity the error code is "Moodle cannot connect to Joomla"
For Joomla Web Services the error is " An unexpected error happened: 89159464: Invalid token - token not found | ERRORCODE: invalidtoken"

The settings should be good as everything was working perfectly before upgrading to 3.1. I did double check the the tokens and did redo a lot of the steps as directed in the install wiki just to make sure things were correct, but I still have the errors.

I can log into Moodle using my administrator password. Students cannot log in. I had to disable the Joomdlehooks User Plugin as it was causing errors on the Joomla site.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have a large class starting soon and they rely heavily on Moodle.

Thanks

Hi all.

I tested locally, and SSO is working fine for me, without having to modify any passwords. I am using PHP 5.5.9.

Are you sure you are running Joomdle 1.0.5 on Moodle side? I don't see any errors in notifications.

Chris: your error is different: check your tokens. If necessary, delete the token and create it again.

We did create a new Moodle token that we put into Joomla, with no luck. Is there a way to create a new Joomla token to put into Moodle?

The invalid token message is related to the Moodle token, so you don't need to change Joomla token for anything.

After changing token, what error do you get?

That's very strange. I have only seen that error when token was wrong. Check it again, and double-check that Moodle URL is pointing to the right Moodle installation.
You can also try re-creating the service, and then creating a new token...

I think I have tried all variations of the url and have recreated the service. Is this something you could log into my accounts and double check? I am at a loss...
