I am preparing to update from Joomdle1.0.5 to 1.0.7. I looked for update instructions and found them here -- www.joomdle.com/wiki/Upgrading .

The instructions there read:

Joomla
You can install the new version over existing one. Configuration parameters will be kept.

I'm not certain what you mean by installing a new version over an existing one -- do you mean that Joomla should be updated first?

Upgrade from R0.9x to 1.0
In Joomdle 1.0, most 3rd party integrations have been moved to independent plugins, that you will need to install separately.
Some of them are available only to active subscribers, so please check your configuration and plan ahead before you upgrade. Contact us in the forums if you have any doubts.
Moodle
Remove old auth/joomdle folder and put new one in place

What about the enrol folder that comes in the Moodle folder: should that replace an already-existing enrol folder?

Finally, I assume I install the joomdle-joomla-package.zip first before I replace the folders in the Moodle directory, yes?

Joomla: just install joomdle-joomla-package.zip in Joomla. Nothing else should be needed there.

For Moodle: I have now updated upgrade instructions, as there is a much simpler method now. Thanks for the heads up, as I had forgotten to update.

As for Joomdle enrol method: you should not need to upgrade this one, as it has not been updated in a long time (there's been no need).

It does not really matter if you upgrade joomdle on joomla or moodle first, as you need to do both pne after the other to make sure it all syncs.
