Upgrading from 0.95 was created by Robert
Hi,
I just read the information on www.joomdle.com/wiki/Upgrading
Now, I am wondering if this is also the case if we upgrade from Joomdle version 0.95 to the current latest Joomdle version for Joomla and Moodle or should we do a step by step upgrade ? (we are currently upgrading from Joomla 2.5.8 to the latest Joomla version and Moodle version)
Thanks a lot for any tips or recommendations on how best to approach this undertaking

It should be fine to upgrade directly to current release.
Just a note: in Joomdle 1.0, most 3rd party integrations have been moved to independent plugins, that you will need to install separately.
Some of them are available only to active subscribers, so please check your configuration and plan ahead before you upgrade.

Hi Antonio,
Yes, thanks it worked well and connection is up and running all system checks are green, but for some reason (see attached print screen) the mappings we used to have are gone.. I just paid subscription to perhaps find a special plug-in to download and install/update (JomSocial mapping or alike) but cannot find one.
When I try to create it anew, I get the following error message: You need to select an additional data source in Joomdle configuration
Could you point where to find the solutions to this issue?
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert.
You need to install and enable Jomsocial Profile Plugin, and select it in Joomdle configuration in Joomla, User profiles tab, as "Additional data source".

Are you referring to this extenstion here
extensions.joomla.org/extension/profile-pro-for-jomsocial
... it seems like this extension has not been updated for the latest Joomla and JomSocial versions (since 2015), so I want to be sure before buying..
Actually, I only wanted to use JomSocial fields to have First Name and Last Name seperately mapped between JomSocial (Joomla) and Moodle, perhaps since many things have change, might there be other options to have these mapped ... any idea or comment is welcome!
Thanks!

I am referring to the first one listed here:
www.joomdle.com/download/category/15-jomsocial
This is the plugin that lets you use Jomsocial for Joomdle mappings.
