Great :)

In fact, users are created in Moodle when they are created in Joomla, if the "Auto create users" option is set. Do you have it set?
Try creating a new user in Joomla and see if it gets created in Moodle.
If not, maybe there are some configuration issues pending on moodle side.

So, when users are created in both Joomla and Moodle, users can just click on any of the courses showed in the module and they will be redirected to Moodle and aked if they want to join the course.

I guess I still need to know how I get the SSO to work, does SSO only refer to lonon or does it mean registration too?

As I told you in the last post, users are auto-created in moodle when creating in Joomla.

SSO refers to the two.

Hi,

Thanks for all your support to date. I have got a few things working now, most of it I think. I have a a few questions as I don’t think it’s working as well as it can, I hope you can help with these last few issues.
The SSO does create a user in moodle however when I “Browse list of users” in moodle neither the “First name / Surname” nor the email address is populated or displayed and when I edit the user account the only value (auto) generated is the username.
I think a related issue is that the “Moodle Courses” module … now displays the courses in moodle (thanks again) however when I click on a the sample course I am redirected to the login screen gaa.suildesign.com/moodle/login/index.php
Even if I reenter the user & password I get an “Invalid login, please try again” message.

I’ve added a few joomdle Menu Item Types and they work really (really) well. Should I expect the above module (Moodle Courses & My Moodle Courses) to act in a similar way? I still can’t get the user to enroll in a course.

P.S. in the Course List the parameters – basic the text is in Spanish “ Mostrar solamente cursos abiertos para inscripciones” Eng: “Show only courses open for enrollment”

Ok. It sounds like joomla web services are not working properly:
- did you enabled web services in joomla global config?
- is the joomdle xmlrpc plugin enabled and public?

Hi,

Yea, the joomdle xmlrpc plugin enabled and public?

web services in joomla global config? How do I check and set this?
Is it the XML-RPC - Joomla? If so this is enabled and public.

Regards
