[Solved] upgrade from 0.24 to 0.25 manual install was created by Howard
Hi,
I shall be upgrading my site from 0.24 to 0.25 at the weekend time permitting.
However just need to check with you first what I need to do.
I installed 0.24 using the manual install, should I disable all the modules and plugins before i uninstall them. After doing that then install the R0.25 version.
Cheers

Hi.
As far as I know you don't need to disable the modules and plugins, just uninstall them. Then, install R025.
Please, tell us if you find any issues.

Upgrade update
all seems to have gone well
I uninstalled 0.24 modules which I had originally installed using the manual installer
However I had a go at installing the auto installer first just because.... and guess what it was okay - installed without any memory issues that I had earlier with r0.24
Also I have noticed that upgrading Joomla to the latest 1.5 20 from 18 seems to have helped improve the sign out issue when running joomla and moodle on seperate domains, but still checking this out will let you know what I find.
So far all seems okay
cheers

Hi,
Thanks for the report.
As for the Single sign out on different domains, it should be fixed in Joomdle R0.25, it has nothing to do with new Joomla version.
We changed the sign out code to be similar to single sign on, so now it works accross domains.
Cheers,
Antonio

I didnt think it was really to do with the Joomla version. It just may have been down to a clear out of cache/cookies when I upgraded the version. Thats when I noticed it working.
Thanks once again for a sterling job.
I must put my praising comments on Joomla
