Multiple Course Enrollments in Virtuemart was created by Jon Neubauer
Hey there,
I'm not the best programmer in the world, so I figured I'd ask the experts here :)
I'm working on a site integrating Moodle and Joomla with payment for courses through Virtuemart.
The site is a teaching site for children, and obviously we encourage parents to enroll all their kids in the course.
How would I go about separating the enrollments into separate users when a parent subscribes?
For example, a parent has three kids who are to be enrolled into Course A - so the parent would go to the Virtuemart and select the course and add three (3) of them to her cart - how would I go about creating the separate accounts with unique usernames?
I may be off in my understanding of Joomdle here, but I just want to make sure Joomdle is the right solution for me before I start using it.
Thanks!
Jon

Hi.

At this point Joomdle cannot do what you want, as Joomla itslef cannot differenciate between parents and kids, for example. Also, Joomdle is not prepared to handle enroling users which are not the one buying the courses.

We have been thinking about a scenario very similiar like yours, but work has not started yet, as it would need the use of Jomsocial and JSPT, and then add some custom Joomdle features.
As Jomsocial and JSPT are commercial software, I guess we will implement this feature when some client hires us for doing so :)
