When I create a member in Joomla,
the member can be easily logged in moodle automatically when it enters from joomla too moodle.

But if the member goes to my moodle site directly , he cannot log into moodle directly with username and password he has created in Joomla. Why?

This is the correct behaviour. Refer to the Joomdle documentation www.joomdle.com/wiki/Features

One of the key concepts with Joomdle is to provide the members with a consistent user interface (including logging in). Thus members will log into Joomla and automatically log into Moodle. The except to this is teachers and administrators.

So you do you mean there is no way to make my members to be able to log in from moodle itself too.

They can register in joomla. Because I dont want to use wrapper and my moodle is another domain name. So after some times some students may find it stupid that they should first come and log into joomla and then go to moodle.

Anyway or solution?

Yes, there is.

I guess Chris is forgetting that we added that feature some time ago.

In theory, this should be working if everything else is working...so I don't know what might be happening.

I am away from home this week, so I can't do any testing from here.

Hi there,

Sorry for misleading you ..... can you post your site address or PM it to me.

Also, is everything else working? Pulling content from Moodle using the modules, linking to Moodle, etc.

Hello,

Yes,

The joomla site is www.ezaban.com (and it is Farsi or Persian Language)

The moodle site is www.lincolony.com

The problem I have is that people can easily enroll themselves into the courses. But I have installed Virtuemart and I want to sell courses. But they easily enroll themselves. (this is the problem I have now).

I have put an enrollment key but it seems it does not work and people can easily enroll from joomla.

Should I make select the option that the course is not available to students?

Hello,

Did you work on my website ?
I think the problem has gone, but I have faced two other problems:

1- when you enter www.lincolony.com as guest (not member) from Firefox, only the header of the site is shown. The rest is not shown. When you log in. the rest of the site will be visible.

2- A member joins eZaban.com , he will receive an email about lincolony.com . WHen he comes to www.lincolony and log in, it jumps into eZaban (joomla) and joomdle component.
I don't want this. I want my moodle members stay in moodle when they log in.

Hello,

I found out that this problem occurs in all browsers including IE, Chrome, FF.

If you go to www.lincolony.com you will just see the header. That is all. Then you should log in.

This problem is a bit serious. Any support?

Thanks,
