Calendar not showing infomation was created by Paul Garrat
Hi I have got Joomdle installed on my system and seem to have the links between the systems working. Howerver I get an erro in System Check under Joomdle services

Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle

I have configgured the moodle properly I think?? With correct addresses etc and, Joomla shows the course once you logon. However it doesn't show the calendar events.

Any ideas.

Cheers

Hi there,

You really need to resolve the error you are seeing:

Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle

In order to display the Moodle content such as courses, calendar, etc. we can do this with the URL being incorrect. However, if you try to click through to the course you will receive an error message - something like server cannot be found.

Why you can see the courses and not the calendar, I am not sure yet. I will need to explore further and understand a bit more.
- Does it show the calendar module / software at all?
- Does it show and course event details on the calendar or completely blank?
- What happens when you click through to the courses from the courses module?
- For the user ID logged into Joomla, are they enrolled in the course with the event details already?

Finally just a little explanation on the calendar at this point. At this point, R0.25, the content (events, etc.) published to the calendar are those events that are for "My Courses" that I am enrolled in as the course information is considered secure. Thus if the user id is not enrolled in any courses they will not see any content on the calendar. In the future, we are looking at adding more to this making the calendar a more effective tool.

- Does it show the calendar module / software at all? Yes the calender comes up with correct month but not events when not logged in. However if you login the calendar changes to 0 (zeros) for each day and Demeber as the month

- Does it show and course event details on the calendar or completely blank?
No course events

- What happens when you click through to the courses from the courses module?
It goes straight in to the moodle and I'm logged in

- For the user ID logged into Joomla, are they enrolled in the course with the event details already?
Yes

Ok understand the calendar now with the final bit, does that also mean site events are not shown in Joomla?
