I need know what version of moodle I need to download

J1.5 is no longer supported, so I would not use it to set a new site.
Joomdle support for J1.5 also ended, so I can't tell you which Moodle version would be best.

Pero aun asi puedes ayudarme? logre instalar pero ahora tengo 3 limitaciones de servidor, me contacte con ellos y dicen que esta habilitado xml rpc pero me esta dando error 7021 de metodo xmlrpc inadecuado, puse en el plugin la ip pero sin el modivicador /32 que no entiendo que es

en la edicion del php.ini no me ha funcionado

el dominio es www.institutoif.com

y el moodle esta en la carpeta moodle

As Antonio has indicated, R1.5 is no longer supported. Therefore, if any problems are a result of software it will not be fixed. For J1.5 you will need to use Joomdle R0.8 which also has less features.

From your problem you need to ensure that you have xml-rpc libraries loaded and enabled. Your server also needs support for fopen. These you need to get from your hosting company.

This is all we can help you with until you upgrade to the latest version of Joomla and Joomdle.

moodle necesita certificado SSL seguro? porque estoy en un shared hosting sin certificado SSL y no puedo habilitar la red moodle, ese es mi última traba para poder funcionar bien

Solo tienes que añadir tu ip a la lista de hosts confiados en moodle.
