How to sync Hikashop and Moodle profiles?

Hello,

I am trying to sync Hikashop and Moodle user profiles along with all the user fields created in Hikashop. I chose "Hikashop" as the main "Source" to 'map' user profile fields in the "Mappings" menu (See "1.png"). Then, I choose one of the fields to map (See "2.png"). It doesn't seem to work! Please help!

Hi.

After creating the mappings, are they listed in Joomdle->Mappings?
If they are, try this:
- Edit user in Hikashop, and set schoolname
- Go to Joomla backend->Users, and enter the user. Click save without making any changes
- Go to Moodle and check the AIM field

ps: I assume your Joomdle system check is all green.

Yes! It works! However, it works only when I click "save"- like you suggested. There are hundreds of user accounts on the site and I would like to sync everything at once- without having to click on an individual user profile and click- "Save". How do I do that for existing accounts? The "Sync Joomla/ Moodle profiles" do not work.

Also, if any new user is registered, the information is not synced. I have to manually click "Sync Moodle Profiles" after selecting the newly created user. I want to make this automated as soon as a new user is created. The system check is all green. Please assist.

Hi.

For syncing all accounts, you need to use "Sync Moodle Profiles", as you say you are doing with new users.

As for new users: in the past, Hikashop was not triggering events after storing address info, so we could not do much. I checked it again now and found that it has the required events, so I created a new plugin to use them and sync Moodle profile info. Please test it and let me know how it works for you:
