Hikashop not adding course group to cart for checkout. #1
Hello,
Hikashop adds all products to the cart except Moodle course groups - even the moodle courses without groups are added to the cart.
Group Characteristic Format
8: March 2021
9: June 2021
10: September 2021
...
I would appreciate your assistance.
Thank you,
Wrina

Hi.
I am not sure if I understand you: you mean that when you click "add to cart" button nothing happens? Or that you don't get enroled after checkout?
If the product is really not being added to cart, I don't think it is related to Joomdle. You could test by creating a normal product and adding the characteristics there, and then adding it to the cart.

Hello Antonio,
I fixed the add to cart issue -- however, after the course is added to the cart (hikashop) and a user's payment is confirmed, the user is not enrolled in the course within the moodle site.
Everything else seems to work fine:
New users are added to Moodle from the Joomla site.
And the Joomdle Enrollment plugin within Moodle is enabled
Component Version
Joomla: 3.9.22
EasySocial: 3.2.22
Moodles: 3.10
Hikashop: Newest Version

Please check this first:
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Category:FAQ#I_don...._purchasing_a_course k
Also, if you are using groups, remember to use the groups plugin for Hikashop, and disable the normal one.

Antonio,
Thanks for your help! Disabling the hikashop Group Plugin helped.
The process of adding the course in moodle took some time, for the joomla/moodle system to process - about two minutes (yet a lot faster than me adding the course myslef). Thank you for creating this component!!!

Glad to know it is working. But remember that if you want to use groups you'll need to disable normal plugin and enable groups one.
As for the 2 minutes: I have never seen it take that long. Maybe it is related to payment confirmation and how long it takes to mark order as confirmed in shop? To confirm, you can:
- Unerol user from course purchased
- go to backend, set order to pending state, and then back to confirmed
- now check Moodle to see if enrolment is done right away, as it should
