OK, thank you.

My test system now quite out of step with the live so I think I had better scrap it and take a fresh image from the live and start again. I will go through all the upgrade steps again and if/when I get back to the same point and have the same problem I'll come back to you and maybe you could take another look?

Hi Antonio,

Sorry its been so long coming back to this ticket. Workload has only just allowed me to look at upgrading my Joomdle sites again. Having completely started from scratch with clean Joomla and Moodle installations, that problem has gone away and I can confirm that, with the exception of one issue, everything is working fine now. This obviously doesn't actually solve my problem as my live Moodle site has many courses and active users, so re-installing that from scratch will be a nightmare. However, for now, my focus is on the one remaining issue I have with the freshly installed test site:-

After purchase and enrolment, when the new user first clicks the link to access their course, they are directed to the moodle edit user profile page instead of going directly to the course. Everything is filled out OK, tho there is an error under the description field that says its unable to restore draft version. The user just has to Update the profile then go on and find their course from the Moodle menu. This is not ideal.

I googled and found several reports of this before and checked that I have set everything correctly to comply with suggestions made but I still have the same problem.

Joomla version now 4.4.0, Moodle version 4.1.6, and latest available Joomdle version.

I have Virtumart Profile set as a secondary data source and have mapped the first and last name fields to the corresponding Moodle fields so I'm not sure what to do now.

We need to find out why the redirect is happening. Usually it is because of an empty required field, but you say all is filled.
If you have a test site we can use, I could do some debugging there to try to find the cause.

Thanks Antonio, I just did a full account backup. It is a test system but has taken me so long to get it working how I need it to that I intend to use it as the live version and work out how to migrate in all the Moodle courses/user data once it is 100% working.

I have emailed you the connection details.

I think thats all the details you should need, but give me a shout if you need more.
