Hi Team,
I am so impressed with the professional look of Joomdle inside Joomla and therefore would like to get this up and running, rather than giving up and going back to Joomla only.

My problem is that the Joomdle config drops out completely, after I log out of Joomla
ie the Moodle URL, Moodle Auth Token and Joomdle Auth token fields are empty after I log back into Joomla
This is after viewing all green ticks in System Check within Joomdle Config in Joomla before I logged out.

System is new setup for Moodle 2.6
New setup for Joomdle 1.0
Existing setup of Joomla 3.3.6

Any help would be brilliant.

ADDITION 7 hours later.
I have been using joomdle all day and have now noticed that the joomdle settings have dropped out again, based on time??. I haven't logged out. Very confusing.

Mark.

This is indeed strange behaviour that I have not seen before.

Do you see any error message anywhere? We have seen a scenario where the configuration option was not able to save but not where they could save and then it was lost. The reason it could not save was the person did not add all the Joomdle functions in Moodle causing a 'hard' to see error at the bottom of the configuration page. Once they added all Joomdle functions in Moodle it was OK.

- In your case, it appears as though you can save the configuration and move around the Joomla backend without any noticeable errors. Is this correct?
- Does the same thing happen with your Joomla Global Configuration?
- Are you using localhost for testing? MAC OS? Windows? Linux?
- Do you have any cron jobs running? Perhaps something is restoring your server configuration automatically?
- Joomdle is not so clever that it manages access, permissions, database, etc. this is all controlled by Joomla like any other extension. Thus it is hard to imagine why the values would disappear.

Yes I have been adding articles to Joomla all day today.

Joomla operates like normal in all aspects, just lost Joomdle
- Are you using localhost for testing? MAC OS? Windows? Linux?
No. Testing, but maybe should start I am on a Mac with Mavricks
- Do you have any cron jobs running? Perhaps something is restoring your server configuration automatically? I have asked Tech support at my VPS. waiting on that.
- Joomdle is not so clever that it manages access, permissions, database, etc. this is all controlled by Joomla like any other extension. Thus it is hard to imagine why the values would disappear. Very tricky one to replicate.

Hi Team,
Joomdle settings, specifically the Joomla Auth Token (JAT), is a major symptom. (Still not sure what is causing the issues)

In Joomla, when I have the correct JAT in both Joomla and Moodle in the correct place, and then when I click Save in Joomla, the joomla window changes to a white background complete with no Joomla menus or Save button evident. When I remove the JAT from moodle, the Joomla window operates as normal.
BUT I get all green ticks on the system check method.
This indicates to me that the JAT is the cause of a problem. Is it a moodle setting? Is it Rockettheme Acacron that I have installed causing the problem?

Can anyone assist by logging into my Joomla and Moodle to check it out? Can you help in that regard?
Login details avail on request, but not sure where to send them.

I don't want to give up on Joomdle, but I am getting close to it.

All the best

Mark

You don't get any errors there? It seems maybe you forgot to add functions to service in Moodle.

If you want the Joomdle team to take care of installation/configuration, please write to development@joomdle.com to get a quote.
